About Me
Greetings! My name is Marie Langdon and I am a reading
interventionist at LES. I have a BS in Elementary Education from CCSU and a Masters in Literacy from The University of New England. I work with small groups of students who need extra instruction in targeted reading skills. These are explained under the reading terms section. I have been at LES since 2001 and was the Title I reading teacher for 15 years. I have been awarded Teacher of the Year twice by my colleagues at LES. On a personal level, I live in Colchester on a lake and enjoy kayaking, hiking, camping, crocheting, painting, writing, and singing as I play my piano. My favorite activity is reading – especially in my hammock in the summer! |
